Rye Brook - was incorporated as a Village in 1982. The Village is located in southern Westchester County in the state of New York, approximately 40 minutes north of New York City. Blind Brook Schools - The Blind Brook School District is small (approximately 1,400 students) and highly regarded. Both the Ponterio / Ridge Street School (K-5) and Blind Brook Middle/High School (6-12) are nationally recognized Schools of Excellence and both are accredited by the Middle States Association. Library - The Port Chester-Rye Brook libary, a member of the Westchester County Libary System, provides free access to information, materials, programs and technology to meet the educational, recreational, and cultural needs and interests of residents of the Villages of Port Chester and Rye Brook.
